Each year nearly 2 million people in the UK suffer some form of domestic abuse - around one third of those who suffer are men.

If you are experiencing abuse you are not alone.

The M6:8 Project exists to help, support and educate anyone who has or could be vulnerable to

domestic abuse.

  • 24 hr support line

  • Moral support when reporting crimes and going to trial

  • Support and facilitation of contact and mediation sessions

PRACTICAL HELP

  • Emergency accommodation whilst awaiting a refuge place

  • Cooked meals for individuals & families that have fled domestic abuse 

STATS

1 in 5 women have experienced sexual violence from a current or previous partner from the age of 15.

1 man per month is killed by a current or previous partner.

130,000 children live in homes where there is a high-risk of Domestic Abuse

In the UK police get a Domestic abuse call every 30 seconds
